Harry M. Lasker
Founder and Chairman, Cerylion Board of Directors
As co-founder and Chairman of the Board at Cerylion, Harry contributed to the creation and vision of the company. Harry is also responsible for the strategic development of Cerylion's continued growth and direction.
Prior to Cerylion, Harry co-founded several other innovative companies, including:
- Renaissance Solutions in 1992, which helped pioneer the field of knowledge management with major Internet applications including the management of product and service knowledge for AT&T. Harry also co-founded Africana.com in 1999, a major African American portal which was eventually sold to AOL Time Warner in August, 2000.
- Spectrum, Inc., where he created corporate training systems for Xerox, IBM, Sears and other major corporations.
- Articulate Systems, Inc., where he created voice interface for Apple Computers.

Dr. Lasker was on the faculty of the Harvard Graduate School of Education for 15 years, starting in 1972, where he taught courses in the design of educational media. He was actively involved with the development of Sesame Street and other national programs developed by the Children's Television Workshop. In 1981, he co-founded one of the first successful multimedia companies that worked closely with IBM in introducing multimedia technology and applications. Additionally, Harry was the principal architect of many major learning systems implemented in the 1980s in companies such as IBM, FedEx, Sears, American Airlines and numerous financial service companies.
Harry holds a masters and Ph.D. from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree from Harvard University.
